Daddy and Daughter's First Bath

Kissy Face

Proud Papa

Scarlett Chiyomi Stanton

Scarlett Chiyomi Stanton was born into this world on Saturday March 26th 2011 at 4:55 in the morning.

As you may have seen on the previous post, we started at the hospital on Thursday evening at eight to begin our induction. After we had to comprimise on just about everything in our birth plan, and nearly 32 hours of labor later, we ended that portion of our journey with an emergency c-section. We could care less about our plans on how labor and delivery would go, we have just received the most precious gift ever. She caming out screaming but has been a quiet and calm baby ever since. She was born at 7lbs 5 oz, and 20 inces long. Here are her first pictures, please enjoy, and visit again, we will update often with her achievements and pictures!

Thank you to all of our friends and family for all of your warm thoughts and well wishes, we love you all!

We're at the Hospital

Well this was not in our birth plan, but nothing ever happens as planned with kids right? So we arrived at the hospital an hour ago and we are getting induced tonight. After another ultrasound today, she looks great and performed perfectly but the fluid is getting low, and they would prefer to get her out before she gets stressed out.

We are so excited that our little sweet pea will be coming soon. We can't wait to share her with the world.

Until tomorrow's update :)

It's Saturday night, two days after due day. She is officially late. Jason wants to know if this means that she will always be late, and will he always be waiting for her?

We took a long walk today at Chamber's Bay, but still no signs of labor. We are trying to be patient, but we can't wait to meet our little sweet pea.

Jason would prefer that she wait until at least tomorrow afternoon. Daddy really wants to see the Huskies win against North Carolina, and make it to the sweet sixteen, GO DAWGS!

Baby Stanton is Coming Soon

Well we are officially two days from due date, yippee!

A Saint Patrick's Day Birthday would be pretty cool, and my Irish Grandmother would have been so excited at the thought! But, I have a feeling that our little princess will be showing up late. As they say, good things come to those who wait.

No real signs of labor yet, having braxton hicks contractions, but none that are painful yet. We will keep everyone updated as we get closer to bringing home Baby Stanton :)
